A little less than halfway through the band’s 10/31/94 White Album set, this wild and woolly McCartney tune was appropriately interpreted by the inimitable Mr. Fishman while Trey manned the drum kit. Fish, in many fans’ estimations, surpassed the lunatic angst of Paul’s original extremist pleas for hot, buttered love... but this is to be expected.

One would find it hard to imagine Paul McCartney punctuating a verse of this song with XXX-rated pelvic thrusting, but in the case of Fishman, one would find it hard to imagine the song otherwise.
The song was busted out of hiding three more times, on 12/10/94, 6/25/95, and 2/23/97, on all three occasions in the middle of – or just following – a “Mike’s Groove.” Incidentally, the original Beatles’ recording of this tune, laid down at the height of their internal disagreements, features only Paul and Ringo.
