Indeed. “That’s Alright Mama” may be best known as Elvis’s first single; but it has been covered by a slew of artists over the years. Phish got added to the list of admirers on 5/6/93 in Albany, NY. Although Phish sounds a little hesitant at first, they pick up on it quickly while guest artists Dick Solberg (fiddle) and Jeff Walton (acoustic guitar) rip from the beginning to the end of this one appearance wonder.

Well, that's all right, mama
That's all right for you
That's all right mama, just anyway you do
Well, that's all right, that's all right
That's all right now mama, anyway you do

Mama she done told me
Papa done told me too
'Son, that gal you're foolin' with
She ain't no good for you
But, that's all right, that's all right
That's all right now mama, anyway you do

I'm leaving town, baby
I'm leaving town for sure
Well then you won't be bothered
With me hangin' round your door
But, that's all right, that's all right
That's all right now mama, anyway you do
