Due to a deceptive sound bite from Pink Floyd’s “Speak to Me” (from Dark Side of the Moon), it wasn’t until Phish began the second song on The Beatles’ White Album that many fans’ suspicions on Halloween 1994 were confirmed: the band was actually playing the entire White Album. This gentle tune was originally written about Mia Farrow’s sister, and Phish imbued its cover with appropriate delicacy and sweetness.
