A delightful review! Thank you. Box of Rain got this old deadhead welled up thoroughly.
Nice catch on that I Know You Rider. Heard it too.
And how about those first-nights in Albany??? The energy pegs the meters.

I always appreciate the takes from @mgolia6, and this is no exception. The extent to which this write-up tracks with my experience and interpretation of this show is uncanny. It was also my brothers first show, which made it particularly meaningful. Were at the beginning of our fathers journey into dementia, and so the through-lines of life, mortality, legacy, love, and celebration were especially poignant. More thoughts still forming, but that was front and center for me last night. Also pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the experience from 224.

I forgot to share over some stats I compiled thanks to IHOZ and extracting set lists/song lengths from phishows.com.
Also, ironically, Phish has never played "Divided Sky" at The Knick!? Nor have they played:
Reba
Runaway Jim
I Am Hydrogen
The Lizards
Hold Your Head Up
Poor Heart
Fee
My Sweet One
The Oh Kee Pa Ceremony
all of which (thanks to Phish Stats) should have been seen at least once, if not more.

What a night! Couple of thoughts. Ive been wondering if Moma has been used as a send off for loved ones passed. As in Viking Sea Burial. In that culture a person may be sent off shore in a vessel after their spirt has moved on. The moment ends, these winds blowing differently than ever before. Pushing me further from shore. Phil Bombs all night. We noticed our security guy really loosen up and vibe with Free. That Piper is no joke. The move from Light to Tweezer was the best start to that tune in a long time, respectfully. Tweezer jam ! Monsters spoke to us, we all have them in our heads. What a special group of musicians, reminding us, and assisting us to be in the present,. Blowing minds. Reminding us to be our best and help where we can. Lets be more like Trey, Page, Mike and John ; evolve and improve,

Great review. From the couch, I loved every minute of it. Let us NOT forget the Shakedown teases during both Free and the Howling from Mike. RIP, Phil. Long live the Phish from Vermont.
Nice catch on that I Know You Rider. Heard it too.
